The template is silicone and flexible. These wonderful tool are made from silicone and are robust while they have some stretch and flexibility.

Simply draw through the template with a removable pencil/marker (I recommend Generals white chalk pencils). When finished with your project and the paint is completely dry, erase any remaining marks using a damp earbud cleaner.
